Intimate fine art photography is, by definition, delicate. Its compositions and colors require subtlety. But how will generative A.I. impact this field? Without refinements, its outputs are either overwhelming or simply bland.

New questions and valid concerns are plentiful. While some artists resist or even reject this progression, I choose to embrace it. Only through experimentation will it become clear how Gen AI fits into the photographer’s toolkit.

La Cabinue exists as both a physical space, a traditional photo studio, and an online art platform. The PAIRS on display combine two distinct approaches. One is always a traditional photograph featuring a human model. The other is a "synthetic photo", created using generative AI and digital manipulation. I welcome all feedback - Nick
